Seller virtual cards: tool payments and card management
Manage store fees, seller plugins, SaaS and cloud expenses with Pikabao virtual cards, assigning cards and funds by actual use. Check PayPal account rules separately; a payment card is not a receiving account.
The most-used platforms in a seller's tool stack
These platforms illustrate payment uses, not acceptance for every account, region or plan. Review official payment rules before paying. See the platform directory for more entries.

Five seller-tool payment needs
Store platform fees
- Billing pattern
- Plan and billing-period charges
- Checks
- Store entity, payment region and renewal date
Seller tools and plugins
- Billing pattern
- Subscriptions, seats or extra usage
- Checks
- Plugin billing channel and cancellation
SaaS and cloud
- Billing pattern
- Fixed plans or actual usage
- Checks
- Project budgets, usage alerts and debts
PayPal card verification
- Billing pattern
- Payment-method verification under account rules
- Checks
- Account region, card type and verification prompts
Services with issuance rules
- Billing pattern
- Merchant-specific requirements
- Checks
- Explicit local-issuance rules, not address or website language alone
Store plans, third-party plugins and cloud services may use different billing channels. Record billing entities, admins, currencies, periods, last four card digits and cancellation channels. On handover or business pause, verify each cancellation rather than assuming plugins end with the store.
Debit dates and shared funds
Subscriptions, purchases and holds share a card's funds. Organize debit dates from invoices rather than requiring a card for every subscription.
Organize debit dates
Record renewal dates and expected amounts for stores, plugins and cloud services.
Separate management when useful
Manage important subscriptions separately if useful, without guaranteed merchant or account risk isolation.
Manage merchant settings
Handle debts, cancellation and backup methods with the merchant.
Tool activation
Check the channel, plan, default method and actual activation.
Ongoing use
Check card funds against billing dates and recheck amounts after seat or usage changes.
Pause or handover
Cancel or transfer access in each tool and retain confirmation. Resolve debts and refunds before considering card closure.
Before a tool trial, record its end date, paid-conversion rules and cancellation channel and check seats or usage charges. Uninstalling a plugin, signing out and cancelling a plan may be different actions. Follow cancellation confirmation and billing status, not merely whether the plugin appears on the storefront.
Visa, Mastercard and regional segment uses
Visa virtual cards: stores and software
Choose accepted segments for store, SaaS and cloud bills.
Mastercard: verification and subscriptions
Consider PayPal verification or tool subscriptions accepting the segment. Check payment methods and authentication requirements.
US virtual cards: explicit issuance needs
Review US segments when US issuance is explicitly required; a US address alone is not a BIN requirement.
Two cards are an optional management choice, not an initial quota. Start with one accepted segment if it serves your merchants, then add cards for separate records or funding.
Renewal dates and card funding
Account funds and card funds
Account balance and each card's funds are separate. After depositing, fund the payment card and consider an extra $1–3 for the actual bill. This is a funds buffer, not a fixed fee. Transaction limits are read-only; funding does not raise them.
Card count and slots
Standard users may hold up to 5 unclosed cards; approved advertising users up to 30. Frozen, idle and inactive cards count until closure completes. Idle cards are not automatically closed.
Funding rates and frequency
At a fixed 3% rate, fewer funding transactions alone are not cheaper. Calculate card count, transaction fees and merchant bills separately.
PayPal card-linking and verification preparation
PayPal acceptance depends on account region, card type and use. Review Mastercard options without claiming more reliable verification than other networks.
- Check card funds and read-only limits before linkingFund verification charges or holds under PayPal prompts; do not assume a settled purchase is always created.
- Use payment details from the cardReview address, postal code, name and genuine account information without inventing regional details.
- Complete account-page verificationFollow actual prompts. Successful linking does not establish receiving or withdrawal support.
- Retain errors and transaction records on failureIf no record appears, check time ranges, filters and synchronization before asking PayPal or support.
PayPal receiving and virtual-card payments are different functions. A virtual card provides payment details, not a bank account, customer receipts, savings or platform withdrawals.
Issuing and funding costs for seller tools
Pikabao separates issuing, account deposits and card funding. Spendable card funds are not all fees.
| Fee stage | Fee terms |
|---|---|
| Issuing fee | From $1, as shown for the selected segment |
| Account-deposit fee | $0; minimum USDT account deposit $20 |
| Card-funding fee | 3%, calculated on the card-funding amount |
| Holding fees | No monthly, annual or idle fee |
| Account-balance withdrawal | $3 per withdrawal, with a 24-hour security cooldown; separate from merchant refunds |
At the same 3% rate, funding $100 costs $3, as do two $50 fundings in total. Fewer cards can reduce issuing fees; fewer funding transactions alone do not reduce this percentage fee. Check pricing and the submission breakdown for other transaction fees.

Frequently asked questions
How many cards does a seller need?
Choose by acceptance and management needs. One, two or more cards may fit; two are not mandatory. Splitting helps records and funding, without guaranteed risk isolation.
Can a failed store fee affect service?
Possibly. Review grace periods, debts and service rules and maintain funds and payment methods. Freezing or closing a card does not cancel the store plan.
Can several tools share a card?
Yes, if accepted with adequate funds and limits. Track renewal dates, amounts and holds, splitting cards when separate management helps.
Which card should I use for PayPal verification?
Choose an accepted segment under PayPal account-region, use and card-type requirements. Check details, funds and limits; an absent record does not prove PayPal blocked it or that changing cards is useless.
Can virtual cards receive customer payments?
No. They are payment tools, without receiving, savings or platform withdrawal-to-card features. Use an appropriate receiving account for customer payments.
Should cloud spending rely only on card limits?
No. Read-only limits cannot be set as project budgets. Use service budgets, usage alerts and permissions; accrued costs still require settlement.
Does this page cover seller ad spend?
Review the advertising guide for billing modes, card types, purpose and authentication. Accepted tool subscriptions do not imply accepted ad charges.
Does consolidated funding reduce the 3% fee?
Fewer transactions alone do not reduce it. At the same rate, $100 costs $3, as do two $50 fundings. Fewer cards may reduce issuing fees; check other fees separately.
Does closing a store stop plugin and cloud charges?
Do not assume so. Stores, plugins and cloud services may have independent plans and billing channels. Cancel or transfer each and review renewals, debts and refunds; freezing or closing a card does not cancel the services.
