Overseas Platform and Service Directory: 138 Entries

Find overseas platforms by use case and check the specific product requirements. A star marks platforms commonly used by PIKABAO virtual card users. Acceptance also depends on the BIN, account region, authentication and current merchant rules.

Using it is simple: find what you're doing, see which card that category of scenario calls for, then spot the platform you need underneath it.

The directory merges two sources: platforms publicly verified as compatible within the industry (58) and platforms PIKABAO virtual card users have actually gotten working (80). Combined and deduplicated, they make up the 138 below. The ones marked ★ are the most widely used of the bunch.

About pricing: this directory does not list specific amounts. Overseas platforms adjust their pricing frequently, and numbers hard-coded on a page go stale faster than they can be maintained. When comparing prices, always use the platform's official pricing page.
About platforms: not being listed does not mean a platform is unsupported. The 138 entries are ones with verified payment records, not the limit of what works; Visa / Mastercard are globally accepted card networks, so the vast majority of platforms that take international credit cards work fine. When in doubt, check the target platform's own payment page or reach the live chat in the bottom-right corner.

Pick a card by scenario

First find what you're doing, then see which card fits that scenario. Don't reuse the same card across scenarios — that's the single most important rule here.

No.Use caseWhat this scenario pays forSuggested card approach
①AI / Software subscriptionsSoftware and AI services that renew automatically each monthA US-region Visa, one primary card kept fixed long-term
②Ad platformsPrepaid top-ups and automatic charges on ad accountsOne dedicated card per ad account, never shared with other scenarios

Those are the general directions. For a specific platform, it also matters which region your account belongs to — scroll down to the matching category and check its platform list.

Complete platform list by category

The supported-platform directory below covers 138 directory entries in 9 categories by use case. Each category starts with what that scenario pays for and which card to open, followed by the platforms in it.

AI / Software subscriptions18 platforms

Software and AI services that renew monthly or per seat. Amounts are small and charges are regular; most bill through Stripe and verify your billing address when you add a card.

Recommended cardOne US-region Visa kept fixed long-term — switch it as little as possible. Subscriptions are sensitive to the billing address, so avoid linking one card to too many unfamiliar accounts.

Ad platforms11 platforms

Prepaid top-ups and automatic charges for ad accounts on platforms like Facebook, Google and TikTok. Amounts fluctuate with budgets, and platforms treat these as high-risk transactions.

Recommended cardGive every ad account its own dedicated card — don't mix it with subscriptions or shopping. Sharing one card across accounts lets platforms link them; for high-budget accounts, use a separate card.

Domains / Cloud / Servers19 platforms

Domain renewals, cloud hosting and server bills. Some are fixed monthly fees, while usage-based charges can't be predicted in advance.

Recommended cardUse a card that keeps plenty of balance headroom and don't share it with small subscriptions. Usage-based end-of-month bills can far exceed expectations, and the service gets cut off if the limit runs out.

Dev tools / Data services19 platforms

Developer subscriptions and API usage fees. Mostly per-seat or usage-tiered, so headcount changes and growing usage both affect the next bill.

Recommended cardPrepare one dedicated card sized to your team. After seat or usage adjustments, watch the billing cycle to avoid unexpected charges.

E-commerce / Travel23 platforms

Overseas shopping, hotel and ticket bookings, and cross-border seller-backend fees. Rules differ by region for the same platform, and authorizations can hold the limit before the real charge lands days later.

Recommended cardPick the card by purchase region and keep everyday shopping separate from the seller backend. Business expenses for sellers deserve their own card — don't mix them with buyer spending.

Streaming subscriptions9 platforms

Streaming and music subscriptions with region-specific content; what you can watch and how payment is accepted both depend on the account's region.

Recommended cardDecide your account's region first, then pick a card from the same region. A card region that doesn't match the account region is the most common reason these subscriptions fail.

App stores / Apple ecosystem18 platforms

App Store, iCloud+ and in-app subscriptions; billing rules follow the Apple ID's region, with additional checks on device and network environment.

Recommended cardOne card per Apple ID region — never mix regions. Linking one card to accounts from multiple regions often triggers re-verification requests.

Check before opening a card: what is outside the service scope

Listed in advance so you do not find out after opening a card:

  • Receiving money and withdrawals: a virtual card is a payment tool — it has no receiving or savings functions and is not a bank account.
  • Regions and categories explicitly restricted by platforms: acceptance rules are decided platform-side, and this directory cannot change them.
  • Eligibility: PIKABAO virtual cards are issued to users outside mainland China. Users in mainland China are outside the service scope.

If a platform isn't in the directory, that doesn't mean it can't be used. International card networks are accepted broadly, and this directory only includes services with a recorded entry. Taobao, 1688, JD, Alipay and WeChat Pay all accept the card as a payment method, provided the user meets the eligibility requirement above.

Frequently asked questions

How many overseas platforms do PIKABAO virtual cards support?

Currently 138, organized into 9 use-case categories, of which the 29 marked ★ are the ones most widely used by PIKABAO virtual card users. The directory is continuously maintained: newly verified platforms are added, and platforms that stop accepting cards or shut down are removed, so the list shifts slightly over time.

How were the platforms in the directory selected?

The union of two sources: platforms publicly verified as compatible within the industry (58) and platforms PIKABAO virtual card users have actually gotten working (80), deduplicated to 138. Only one criterion was used — a stable record of real payments. Platform size is irrelevant, and no listing fees of any kind are accepted.

Can one card be used across multiple scenarios at the same time?

We don't recommend mixing scenarios. Ad platforms and the like are classified as high-risk by the platforms themselves, so sharing one card between ads, subscriptions and shopping makes accounts easy to link; if one charge triggers risk control, every other subscription on the same card fails too. The safer approach is one card per scenario: one for subscriptions, one per ad account, and a separate one for seller backends. An account can hold up to 5 unclosed cards at a time.

Why doesn't the directory list specific prices?

Overseas platforms adjust their pricing frequently. Hard-coding amounts on a page means they go stale faster than they can be maintained, which only misleads. The directory therefore includes only long-term stable facts: how the platform charges and which region's card it works best with. When comparing prices, check the platform's official pricing page.

Can Taobao, JD or Alipay accept a PIKABAO virtual card?

Yes. Taobao, 1688, JD, Alipay and WeChat Pay all accept the card, and payment goes through the platform's overseas-card checkout. The condition applies to the user, not the merchant: PIKABAO cards are issued to users outside mainland China, and users in mainland China cannot open a card or pay with one. Settlement currency and amount follow what the checkout page shows.

My platform isn't in the directory. Can I still use it?

You can try. Visa / Mastercard are internationally accepted networks, so any platform that accepts international credit cards should work in theory; not being listed simply means it hasn't been verified yet. Test with a small payment first. For platform-specific questions, contact support through the help center.

Find your scenario, and you'll know which card to open

Find your use case above, confirm which card type and region it calls for, then check whether the platform you need is in that category. Opening a card after both checks beats opening a pile of cards and testing them one by one.
