Prohibited virtual-card cash-out schemes and refunds of unused funds
Pikabao Virtual Credit Cards must not be used for cash-out schemes, money-mule activity or fabricated purchases. Returning your unused prepaid funds is different: follow card-fund return, card-closure settlement or account-refund procedures, not merchant transactions or third-party fund transfers.
Cash-out versus balance refunds
Pikabao Virtual Credit Cards must not be used for cash-out schemes, money-mule activity or fabricated purchases. Returning your unused prepaid funds is different: follow card-fund return, card-closure settlement or account-refund procedures, not merchant transactions or third-party fund transfers.
- Distinguish the purpose
- Unused-fund refunds differ from fabricated purchases; do not move funds for third parties.
- Locate the funds
- Handle account and card funds separately; unsettled holds may affect refundable amounts.
- Use official refund channels
- Check your receiving details, network, fees and request state; never give card details to cash-out agents.
Cash-out schemes, money-mule activity and fabricated purchases differ from unused-fund refunds. Use genuine exit procedures, not orders with unfamiliar merchants and no real goods or services.
Refunds require checks of available amounts, transaction state, your receiving details and fees. Legitimate refunds are not unrestricted, unreviewed transfers to arbitrary third parties.
Prepaid funds versus fabricated transactions
Pikabao Virtual Credit Cards use prepaid funds, not bank lending. Absence of a credit line does not permit fabricated purchases or third-party fund movement.
For $40 of unused funds, request an eligible refund rather than purchase a supposed collection service to move them back. Stop agents asking for card numbers, CVVs or passwords.
Choose a legitimate return process by fund location
For card funds, check fund return or closure settlement first; account refunds are a separate step. Pending transactions may affect refundable amounts, so totals are not immediately refundable amounts.
| Situation | Channel | Conditions |
|---|---|---|
| Unused account balance | Prepaid refund | Amount, 24-hour cooling period, $3 fee and your receiving details |
| Unused card funds | Card-fund return or closure settlement | Last transaction, holds and unsettled records |
| Fabricated purchases or third-party transfers | Not permitted | Not a refund of unused prepaid funds |

Fees and refunds are not cash-conversion arbitrage
Separate deposit, issuing, funding and refund fees. Charges already incurred are not automatically refundable funds, and refunds are not a way to profit through merchant reversals.
With illustrative $20 payment funds, $1 issuance and 3% funding, $21.60 outlay includes $1.60 in fees. On exit, check remaining actual funds rather than assume all outlay is refundable.
Prohibited uses and record checks
Use genuine personal purchases allowed by merchant and platform terms, not self-dealing, borrowed accounts, shared card details or fund movement for strangers.
Retain fund sources, original orders and purposes. Reconciliation or screening cannot guarantee detection of all misuse, and separate cards or BINs do not guarantee risk isolation.
Confirm restrictions, appeals and funds separately
For restrictions, check notices and official appeal channels, accurately explaining transactions and purposes. Restriction is not confirmed wrongdoing, nor does an explanation guarantee release.
Funds may be affected by unsettled items, issuer handling or disputes. Review charges and consequences under applicable terms and actual notices; do not assume restrictions have no effect or all funds are recoverable.
Check details and operation records
Check applicable policies, details and original records for this topic. Use official channels for questions instead of repeated submissions or test payments.
