Personal-data collection, sharing and account protection
Review collection, recipients, retention and access controls together; encryption or masked displays cannot establish absolute safety. The current Pikabao Virtual Credit Cards privacy policy covers account, issuance, transaction and login records and necessary recipients. Check each category before use.
Personal data collection and protection
Review collection, recipients, retention and access controls together; encryption or masked displays cannot establish absolute safety. The current Pikabao Virtual Credit Cards privacy policy covers account, issuance, transaction and login records and necessary recipients. Check each category before use.
- Supply necessary details
- Check official form fields; the site does not require ID photos or facial recognition.
- Separate access from storage
- Masked endings and viewing checks are observable, not proof of backend implementation.
- Check sharing and rights
- Review issuer, processor and infrastructure recipients and access, correction and deletion procedures.
Data protection cannot be summarized by one encryption term. Review collection timing, purposes, recipients and deletion exceptions before supplying details.
The site does not require ID photo uploads or facial recognition. Stop off-site requests for document images, codes or authenticator secrets and verify through official channels.
Check collection, access and retention separately
Compare form requirements with policy categories; data minimization does not mean email, credentials or transaction records are never collected.
Review checks when accessing card details. Showing only endings in the frontend does not prove all backend staff can never access original data.
Review categories and purposes, and request correction, access, copies and deletion separately. Leaving the service does not automatically remove legal or issuer retention duties.
Information categories in the current policy
These are current policy categories, not invented document fields or encryption algorithms. Check official issuance fields and separate identity review from two-step access checks.
| Category | Details and timing | Your check |
|---|---|---|
| Account | Email, account reference and credentials | Protect email and use a unique password |
| Issuance | Name, document number and basic details for first issuance | Do not upload images excluded by the policy |
| Funds and transactions | Deposits, transfers, card states and transactions | Check original orders and keep masked evidence |
| Login and communication | Time, IP, important actions and support exchanges | Review unusual notices and avoid sensitive public screenshots |
A valid code confirms one access check for the current action, not completion of all identity review or merchant acceptance.
Observable access checks and their limits
Users can inspect card endings, verification prompts and their account records. These displays do not directly prove backend permissions, key management or database implementation.
| Scenario | Observable check | Do not infer |
|---|---|---|
| View a card | Ending and access checks | No original data stored anywhere |
| Support investigation | Required fields and masking | Identical permissions for support and all administrators |
| Account exception | Notices, important actions and ticket | No notice means no incident |
Do not test safety by asking support to reveal a full card number. This increases exposure and does not prove universal access restrictions.
Transmission, credentials and device protection
The current policy describes HTTPS, non-plaintext credentials, minimized displays and access records. Standards such as AES-GCM explain techniques, not a specific platform implementation or independent audit of every system.
Encrypted transmission does not prevent exposure through recordings, malicious extensions, browser synchronization or shared clipboards. Use trusted devices and review save prompts; encryption is not zero risk.

Necessary recipients and sharing purposes
The policy lists issuers, payment processors, identity and risk services, and email and infrastructure providers. Do not simplify this to only two recipients or no third-party sharing.
Sharing necessary fields for agreed purposes differs from selling data. The policy excludes selling or renting personal information, not all data access by notification, processing and infrastructure providers.
Handle unusual access and data-rights requests
For unusual login, protect email and credentials from a trusted device and report time and actions officially. Restrict affected cards if payment details may have leaked.
Define the scope of access, correction, copy or deletion requests and retain the record. Ask about unobservable backend matters without treating a frontend check as a security audit.
