Claude Subscription Guide
Check the Pro or Max plan, cycle and current total in your Claude account, then use registered card details and confirm membership and receipts. claude.ai subscriptions and Console API billing are separate; manage extra usage and renewals independently.
Step 1: log in to your Claude account
Open claude.ai (external source, for verification only, not an endorsement), sign in with your own account, and verify the account email.
Step 2: check the pricing and pick a plan
Choose the current plan and billing cycle and check the checkout total and tax. The pricing image retains historical content to identify plans and interfaces, not current prices in every region. Use the official checkout total.
On the upgrade page, choose the plan and billing cycle you need, and click the buy button on the corresponding plan to go to the payment page. The example below uses Pro; for other plans, check the amount and renewal cycle against the plan you picked.
Step 3: pay matching the PIKABAO card details
Keep the PIKABAO card details open on one side, and fill in the checkout page you reached from the official site on the other. Left: Claude's payment method page; right: the PIKABAO card face:
A user-provided screenshot, kept as-is. Fill in the full name, country or region and address first, then choose bank card and enter the card number, expiry date and security code.
VISA-style card face sample; all card data is fictional.Fill in following the card face: the card number is the full number; the full name is the name registered on the card; the expiry date is month / year; the security code is the CVV / CVC. The card face only shows these four items.
Region and address: in the PIKABAO dashboard, open card details, view and copy the billing country or region, address, plus the city, state and postal code required by the form, and fill them in item by item on the payment page. How to get them and common pitfalls, see Where to find the card number, expiry date and CVV, Where does the billing address come from, Will an AVS billing address check block my payment.
A $0 verification generally holds no actual amount. A nonzero authorization may temporarily reduce available funds but is not necessarily a final purchase. Charges, authorization reversals and refunds are distinct states, with timing determined by merchant and issuer processing. An amount alone does not establish verification, duplicate billing or service activation.
Payment field names may vary by region and page language; use an email address where you can receive messages as the billing email.
After confirming, click Subscribe / the corresponding payment button on the page, complete the verification required by the issuer, and wait for the success message. If you hit an error, check the transaction status first and don't resubmit repeatedly.
Step 4: complete payment and confirm the subscription
Complete the payment and the verification required by the issuer, wait for the platform to show a subscription success message, then return to your account to check the plan is active.
If the page reports a failure or keeps saying processing, check the transaction status and receipt first to avoid double payment.
Step 5: confirm your membership and payment receipt
Return to the same account, confirm the plan shows the membership you bought, and note the next renewal date.
Check the merchant receipt against the PIKABAO transaction amount, date and status. A card authorization record doesn't mean the subscription succeeded. For official billing and receipt details, see Anthropic's Help Center (external source, for verification only, not an endorsement).
claude.ai Subscriptions and Console API
| Service | Entry | Billing check |
|---|---|---|
| Pro / Max subscription | claude.ai plan and billing settings | Cycle, actual total and extra usage |
| API | Anthropic Console | API credits, usage and payment rules |
Features, allowances and bills are separate. Subscription success does not establish API payment acceptance or eligibility. Do not invent a risk-control ranking or bypass service rules by falsifying accounts or locations.
API Funds and Eligibility
API entry and eligibility
For API use, check current regional support, eligibility, credits and payments in the official Console. Configure usage and spend controls under its rules; do not assume Pro or Max includes API credits.
Transaction issues
For a payment issue, check the order, receipt, authorization and final charge status to avoid double payment. Use the message to check available funds, read-only limits, card status, registered details, acceptance and authentication. No transaction record is only a clue: it does not prove merchant blocking, that the issuer received nothing or that another card cannot help.
Funding records
Allocate cards by project, purpose or billing cycle to reconcile bills, distribute funds and manage cards individually. One card per merchant is not mandatory. Separate cards or BINs do not guarantee risk isolation, account independence or higher acceptance. Set budgets and spending caps with the merchant; card funds and read-only limits are not advertising budgets.
Membership usage
Review the chosen Pro or Max plan rather than inferring unlimited use or current allowances from historical pricing images. Check whether extra usage is enabled and how it is billed separately.
API funds
Console credits or usage records differ from card funds. The card supports accepted payments, but confirm API credits in Console. A card authorization does not establish increased API credits.
Issuance, Acceptance and Funds
Verification details
Register with an email you can keep receiving messages at and set a password. Complete the required identity verification before first issuance. Google Authenticator two-step verification protects the account: it is not identity verification or a substitute for reviewing identity documents. Use the official dashboard and never disclose passwords or verification codes.
Acceptance
Check the network, card type, issuing region, merchant category, billing mode and authentication support together. Acceptance is decided by the merchant and issuer. Correct addresses, supported advertising categories or one successful payment do not guarantee another payment.
Actual fees
Issuing fees start at $1 and vary by segment, with no monthly or annual fee. Account deposits cost $0; card funding costs 3%. The sending service charges any network or withdrawal fees under its own rules. Review issuance, funded amount, funding fee and account deduction before submitting.
Funding example
Example: with a $1 issuing fee and $20 funded, the account needs $21.60 ($20 + $0.60 funding fee + $1 issuance). The $20 remains card funds. This is not a universal minimum cost: check the selected segment’s minimum funding and issuing fee.
Payment Issues and Support
Orders and records
For a payment issue, check the order, receipt, authorization and final charge status to avoid double payment. Use the message to check available funds, read-only limits, card status, registered details, acceptance and authentication. No transaction record is only a clue: it does not prove merchant blocking, that the issuer received nothing or that another card cannot help.
Retries and fees
Retry according to the merchant’s instructions after identifying and correcting the cause. If the status is unclear, contact support instead of repeatedly submitting or issuing test cards. There is no universally safe retry count. Most segments do not charge for declines; charging segments allow 3 free failures per calendar month, then charge $0.40 each from account balance, resetting at the start of the UTC month. Check current segment terms.
Support responsibilities
Provide the merchant, time, amount, currency, card’s last digits, transaction ID and a redacted screenshot when contacting support. Never send the full card number, CVV, password, verification code or seed phrase. Contact the merchant for order issues and Pikabao support for card or deposit status.
For an inactive plan, check the signed-in account, purchase channel and receipt rather than immediately replacing a card and buying again. For API-page errors, use that entry’s credits, usage and bills; claude.ai membership is not an API payment result.
Renewals, Extra Usage and Replacement
Renewal and expiry
Track the renewal date, payment method and cancellation status in the merchant dashboard. Cancel through the purchase channel. Pikabao sends an expiry reminder one week ahead. Arrange replacement and update the merchant’s payment details; check pending authorizations and refunds before handling the old card. Replacement does not guarantee uninterrupted renewal.
Fund actual bills
Fund for the actual checkout total or next bill, including displayed tax, currency conversion and unsettled amounts. You may leave an extra $1–3 according to the actual bill. This is a balance buffer, not a fixed fee or a universal tax percentage.
Extra-usage controls
Check extra usage or API spending separately from fixed subscriptions. Review current rules and bills before changing plans, enabling extra usage or cancelling; depleted card funds do not guarantee service obligations are cancelled.
Cancel through the original channel
Cancel auto-renewal in the purchase channel’s subscription or billing settings and keep confirmation. Web, Apple and Google store subscriptions are managed separately. Freezing or closing a card is not cancellation; check bills already incurred.
Frequently asked questions
Is Claude Pro acceptance guaranteed?
Check the network, card type, issuing region, merchant category, billing mode and authentication support together. Acceptance is decided by the merchant and issuer. Correct addresses, supported advertising categories or one successful payment do not guarantee another payment.
Why does subscription success not establish API acceptance?
claude.ai subscriptions and Console API are different products and billing entries. Check eligibility, credits and acceptance separately; success does not establish a risk-control ranking.
Which records should I check after failure?
For a payment issue, check the order, receipt, authorization and final charge status to avoid double payment. Use the message to check available funds, read-only limits, card status, registered details, acceptance and authentication. No transaction record is only a clue: it does not prove merchant blocking, that the issuer received nothing or that another card cannot help.
Must subscriptions and API use separate cards?
Allocate cards by project, purpose or billing cycle to reconcile bills, distribute funds and manage cards individually. One card per merchant is not mandatory. Separate cards or BINs do not guarantee risk isolation, account independence or higher acceptance. Set budgets and spending caps with the merchant; card funds and read-only limits are not advertising budgets.
Which billing address should I enter?
Payment details include card number, CVV, expiry date, address, postal code and name; enter the registered details shown for your card. Business name, actual location, tax details and platform eligibility must be checked separately using truthful information. A card address is not a substitute. A BIN describes issuance, not residency or account eligibility.
Will merchant details synchronize after replacement?
Track the renewal date, payment method and cancellation status in the merchant dashboard. Cancel through the purchase channel. Pikabao sends an expiry reminder one week ahead. Arrange replacement and update the merchant’s payment details; check pending authorizations and refunds before handling the old card. Replacement does not guarantee uninterrupted renewal.
How should I retry after a decline?
Retry according to the merchant’s instructions after identifying and correcting the cause. If the status is unclear, contact support instead of repeatedly submitting or issuing test cards. There is no universally safe retry count. Most segments do not charge for declines; charging segments allow 3 free failures per calendar month, then charge $0.40 each from account balance, resetting at the start of the UTC month. Check current segment terms.
What if I was charged without membership activation?
Check the purchasing or advertising account, order, receipt and final charge. Contact official merchant support if paid but not delivered rather than buying or funding again. Card verification or authorization does not prove membership, credited ad balance or ad delivery.
Where should I cancel a subscription?
Cancel auto-renewal in the purchase channel’s subscription or billing settings and keep confirmation. Web, Apple and Google store subscriptions are managed separately. Freezing or closing a card is not cancellation; check bills already incurred.
Do Pro, Max and API credits share one balance?
No. claude.ai subscriptions and Console API have separate billing. Review membership allowances, extra usage, API credits and card funds in their own entries. The same email or a successful membership payment does not establish increased API credits.
Check Uses and Fees Before Issuing a Pikabao Card
Register and complete required checks, review current segments, merchant requirements and actual fees, then fund the intended card for its bills.
